Shamanic Healing

Shamanism is an ancient, world wide healing practice used for problem solving and the healing of mind, body and spirit.

In many cultures, the Shaman's job was to care for the spiritual, as well as physical, health of the community. The Shaman knows that health in body relies also on health in mind, soul, and environment. These are not seperate aspect of ourselves, all are interconnected and all are necessary to form our being.

The Shaman "journeys" into non-ordinary reality whilst in an altered state of consciousness, often brought on by playing a rhythm of 4 to 7 beats per second. This drum beat encourages the Shaman's brain to work in Theta, the waves at which the planet rotates and to which all of nature responds.

By "tuning in" to nature in this way, the Shaman can access information and healing energy and bring it back into this reality to have a positive effect on the person in need of healing.

Information comes in the form of images, words, feelings... anything which can be experienced in ordinary reality can be experienced in non - ordinary reality, and more!

"Every existence has healing power. Plants, trees, animals, fish and insects, but especially a human as the lord of creation has remarkable power."

  Dr. Mikao Usui

Shamanism is not a religion, it is a method to gain wisdom and healing from the world around us, and a spiritual discipline which helps us to connect not only with other realms, but more deeply with ourselves and the world around us.

The Shaman is known as the "walker between the worlds," and Emily experiences great joy in walking the paths with both ancestors and decendents, singing the songs of the circle of life. True life is pure love.

Emily offers Shamanic healing in person or from a distance to people and animals. She especially enjoys helping others to recieve and connect with their Power Animals, a source of healing and loving guidance for life.

"Day by day,

No expectations,

I will show you the way."
